upgrade

We have been experiencing poor air quality for the past two days. Sapphire was sneezing and making funny inhalation sounds (reverse sneezing?), so we decided to let her sleep indoors- with us in our room!

I always knew that this day will come, just earlier than I expected! Well, it is happening, and there's no turning back after that!

We let her out to pee at 11:30pm, gave her a little water, and crated her. She slept throughout until I wake her at 7am! Day 1? Success!

I could hear her shift and turn at night but she was comfortable and didn't make a sound. I'm totally new with this- having a dog sleeping in my room, so if you have any tips and advises, I'm all ears!

Good girl, Sapphire! Your mom is going to share her bed with you in no time!

Eva sleeps indoors in her own room!

We have haze in our country but it is pretty mild as compared to the one 6 years ago. That one was REALLY bad!

If she's gasping for air & her chest expands everytime she tries inhaling, then it could be reverse sneezing. Something is obviously irritating her nasal cavity. River had it once & it would only last for a few seconds. One day, he never had RS again. Something was probably in his nostrils at that time that was causing it.

Mint and I now sleep in the living room, but Cookie and I used to sleep in our humans' bedroom. One problem in having dogs in the bedroom would be that the dogs may become more reliant on their humans. But my Mum says that she was glad that she had us in their bedroom at night when we became sick at night a couple years ago in separate incidents.

Sapphire looks TOTALLY comfy!!!
We both sleep in the same room as our mom and dad. Mom needs to know right where we are in case of an emergency!
